Coalition of Religious Congregations Stop Trafficking of Persons (CRC-STOP)

CRC-STOP is a group dedicated to eradicating human trafficking in all its forms. CRC- STOP members collaborate to end human trafficking through:

  • Legislative Advocacy—working with organizations to urge federal, state, and local legislative efforts to confront human trafficking;
  • Education—providing ongoing education to the general public to raise awareness about international and domestic human trafficking;
  • Direct Services—supporting efforts for emergency, short term, and long term safe housing for survivors of trafficking.

La Crosse Task Force to Eradicate Modern Slavery

This task force is made up of more than 50 persons including  Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and affiliates, law enforcement, education, legal, social service and health care professionals working together to raise awareness about the incidence and response to victims in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area.
